Routes - Workers trvel to 9 shed locations throughout Pine County.
They are responsible for emptying and cleaning sheds, emptying
trucks at the site, weighing all material and transporting garbage to
the landfill. Route workers also travel to commercial businesses that
contract with PHASE Recycling. At these sites, workers exchange
recycling bins and clean up the area in which the bins are located.
PHASE is scheduled with 1 staff for ever 2 route workers.
Work Opportunities - Workers assemble miscellaneous
components and parts (piecework), including refrigerator
components, nut & bolt packages, and cardboard spacer
components. Assembly provides repetitive work opportunities and
continuous work opportunities, paid by-the-piece of completed
components. Piece work is done in-house, but the opportunity to
work at a Community employer is available through our PHASE
South location.
PHASE provides a large variety of work opportunities, both within
the community and internally, so that consumers may have a better
choice in what type of work they do. Consumers enjoy having a
flexible work schedule and a variety of jobs througout the week.
PHASE Recycling is a great opportunity for those who value earning
a paycheck, as it provides consistent work Monday-Friday,
throughout the year, which enables workers to better budget their
funds and provides a dependable source of income. PHASE
Reyciling is a wonderful place to work for people who enjoy hard
work and desire a sense of accomplishment. While it isn't the most
cleanly place to work, the staff make it fun & work days fly by! Who
doesn't love fun and money?
