Opened in the Fall of 2009, PHASE Furnishings sells a variety of home furnishings for all areas of your home including kitchen, dining room, bedroom, living room and bathroom, as well as many accessories (lamps, picture frames, rugs, etc.) to go along! A majority of our funiture is overstock or scratch & dent items, which our Consumers prepare for sale by assebmling and repairing as needed, and sometimes designing and building components to work with the excess furniture we have. drilling. They also get to use their creativity in creating new furniture pieces from scrap material! When they are not working with furniture directly, Consumers help merchandise and clean PHASE Furnishings by stocking shelves, assisting with inventory, cleaning & dusting furniture. On Saturdays (when the store is open), usually one or two Consumers get to gain experience in retail sales and help run the cash register, and assist with customer services. All consumers at PHASE are eligible to work at PHASE Furnishings, however they do work with a variety of tools (drills, saws, etc.) and must prove they can work safely and follow strict safety codes and rules before doing so. |
